CDGUTHRIE iwas born and raised in Texas, USA. He started drawing at a young age and often found himself in trouble with the school teachers for paying more attention to doodling than the work at hand. In his twenties, he taught himself to paint by studying the instructive books released by Helen van Wyk and James Gurney.
He currently resides with his wife Candace Guthrie (Iron MTHR) in Florida.
